The Team Members

  • Since the age of sixteen, Zubin always had an interest in the human body but had a weak stomach when it came to the sight of blood. After some deliberation he opted to study osteopathy as it gave him the opportunity to learn more about the human body but without the gory bits!

Zubin graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in July 2003. He started his career at an Osteopathic practice in Teddington and working for a tutor from the BSO at a practice in Feltham.

In July 2006 Zubin and a fellow Osteopath took on what was then known as the Sheen Osteopathic Clinic from its predecessor. They gave the practice an over haul and set about re-establishing its reputation in the local Sheen community.

In October 2007, Zubin took over sole responsibility of the practice and renamed it Sheen Therapy Centre.

With a dedicated team, Zubin has expanded the centre into offering a variety of therapies. He himself has further developed his osteopathic skills by completing the BSO Cranial course and more recently his training to become a Perrin Technique Practitioner.

He now also offers treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/Myalgic Encephalopathy (M.E), using the world renowned Perrin Technique. Zubin is licensed to practice this and is currently only one of two Osteopaths in the South West London area who has this qualification.

Zubin runs a general clinic from Monday to Saturday where he treats patients ranging from newborn’s to the elderly, suffering with a variety of ailments.

He is a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOSc) and British Osteopathic Association (BOA).

  • Claire qualified as a Massage Therapist in 1987 but didn’t really consider it as a career until she discovered and consequently studied Reiki at the Hitchin Natural Therapy Centre.
In June 2006, she qualified as a Natural Reiki Practitioner and then decided to combine and study Aromatherapy for 18 months to expand her knowledge of oils and Energy Training into the world of Massage and Touch Therapy. She became fully qualified as an Aroma Therapist in December 2007 and continues to study it at an Advanced Level to be able to specialise in specific areas such as Palliative Care, MS, ME, Hormonal Imbalances, Depression, Stress, SAD and Grief.

Claire is fully warranted Scout Leader and is very interested in developing Aromatherapy Massage for children and young adults to aid and support them in times of emotional stress. These include times such as during a family break up or indeed to help them unwind and support them during exams and the numerous hormonal changes they experience during the teenage years.

In 2007 Claire became fully qualified as a Hot Stone Therapist. This is a particularly popular treatment as again it is heavily based on Energy Work and can be combined with Aroma Therapy and Reiki. The treatment she offers does vary slightly from the ‘Beauty Treatment’ offered in a Spa environment, as it works on a much deeper level and includes stone layouts on the Chakra points and under the spine. It is an unbelievably relaxing treatment and can be used to treat muscular conditions as well as emotional and stress related conditions, or indeed to just take time out from a busy schedule and completely unwind and fall asleep!
Claire also volunteers her therapies at the Marie Curie Hospice in Caterham to enable her to continue and expand her knowledge in the Palliative Care field. This is a subject she is passionate about and is developing support and treatment not only for the patients but also for their carers, family members and also the staff based at the hospice.

Claire is very happy to offer Reiki, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone Therapy individually, but is more than happy to combine these as and when required by each individual client. No two people are the same and each treatment is lead by them.
She also offers one to one, couples and group workshops in Aromatherapy and massage for pregnancy and also parent and child massage to enable bonding not only in the early years but right up to teenage and adolescence.

Claire has set her sights on becoming a Reiki Master in 2009, and is looking forward to running Energy workshops and ultimately be able to teach and offer qualifications in Reiki 1, 2, Practitioner and Master Levels.

  • Ladio has a keen interest in Massage and Energy work and exploring the world of Holistic treatments has been his passion for over 5 years.
After attending a one year intensive course at the Energy Training Centre in Putney, studying Meditation, Energy Healing, Relaxation Techniques and Meridian Clearing he attained Diploma’s in Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage at the Healing Alternative School in Raynes Park.

He further developed the treatments by incorporating elements of Shiatsu Head Neck and Shoulder Techniques into the Indian Head Massage making it a truly unique and effective tool for stress related problems. He has also augmented the Thai Foot Massage with knowledge on Reflexology.
Adding to these, he has developed a massage combining Trigger Points and Acupressure techniques which can be tailored to the needs of the client. He is also a qualified Reiki Practitioner.

In order to deepen his knowledge, he is studying Advanced Meditation, Meridian Psychotherapy, and training to become an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner.

Ladio strives to provide you with a calm and quiet environment where you can relax, opening you to new levels of healing, and opportunities to maximise your quality of life.

  • Penny started practising yoga 10 years ago to help a weak back, and to help control stress levels from her demanding job in the Hotel and Catering industry. After having children she decided to learn more about the yoga philosophy and lifestyle, which in turn led to her training as a teacher.

Penny is trained as a “Karuna” yoga teacher, which is “Iyengar” inspired. “Iyengar” is a style of yoga that focuses on precise alignment of the body to correct any imbalances within the body, but also is still very focused on holistically balancing the body, mind and spirit. “Karuna” yoga is a slightly softer, less strict style than“Iyengar”, and one of Penny’s classes will also typically borrow from other traditional Hatha Yoga methods. Penny is a fully insured member of the “Yoga Alliance”, an established recognised body for teachers all over the world.

  • Anna Lubliner is a fully insured British Wheel of Yoga (BWY Dip) Teacher and a qualified Pre & Post natal Yoga instructor. She teaches a flowing style of pregnancy yoga helping you to rejuvenate and relax

  • Dominika's interest in health and well-being began when she was a young athlete running the 400m hurdles for her native country, Poland. She studied Physiotherapy at the Katowice University in southern Poland and soon after graduating (and hanging up her spikes) she moved to England to pursue her love and career in 'the West'.

Since landing in London as a 23 year-old in the summer of 2001 she has studied widely in the field of health and fitness. She is a trained Reflexologist, Masseuse and Personal fitness trainer but perhaps now, primarily, considers herself to be a Pilates Instructor. She studied the Stott Pilates method in early 2008 and has been teaching this with a passion ever since.

Dominika currently teaches Pilates for beginners and advanced at Sheen Therapy Centre on Thursday nights from 7.45-8.45pm. She is registered with REPs.
